SPC Flooring Installation Steps

Subfloor Preparation — Existing surfaces must be clean, level, and dry. Unlike other flooring types, SPC flooring's rigid core requires minimal subfloor treatment, covering minor imperfections without warping.

Moisture Barrier Installation — Particularly in high-humidity environments, lay a moisture barrier or underlay. For nurseries, this enhances comfort and sound absorption.

Acclimatisation — SPC planks must be left in the installation environment for at least 24 hours to adjust to indoor temperature and humidity, ensuring stability post-installation.

Lock-Tongue Assembly — Utilising a patented locking system, SPC flooring achieves precise panel joining without adhesives or nails, significantly reducing installation time while ensuring secure connections.

Edge Finishing — Upon completion, skirting boards or decorative trims conceal expansion gaps, creating a neat, aesthetically pleasing, and safe edge finish.
