  FARFLY recently signed a project with Laboratorio Hahnemann S.R.L. in Bolivia for approximately 1,500 m² of resilient wall and floor materials. The proposed package includes 1mm CS-9901 wall covering, CS-9902 flooring, welding rods and installation tools. The customer’s concerns extended beyond the laboratory flooring product itself. The project team needed to know whether the new materials, existing painted walls, epoxy flooring and locally available adhesive could work together as a reliable installation system. FARFLY reviewed the site conditions, assessed the proposed adhesive, provided technical documentation and recommended appropriate surface preparation. Our support also extended beyond flooring: when the customer requested information about pharmaceutical equipment and trade exhibitions in China, FARFLY helped identify relevant resources and events. Who Is Laboratorio Hahnemann? According to the official history of Laboratorio Hahnemann, the Bolivian pharmaceutical company was established in 1988. Its factory in El Alto currently produces more than 150 pharmaceutical products across chemical, natural and homeopathic product lines. The company has continued investing in its manufacturing facilities, equipment and quality-management capabilities. For this type of pharmaceutical production environment, wall and floor materials must be evaluated not only by colour and price but also by hygiene, maintenance, substrate conditions, material compatibility and installation reliability. When selecting laboratory flooring, medical grade vinyl flooring or cleanroom PVC flooring, the technical data of the floor covering is only one part of the decision. In October 2025, FARFLY provided approximately 1,300㎡ of 6mm composite-process PVC badminton flooring for Northside Badminton Centre, located in Brendale, Queensland, Australia. The project supply scope also included matching adhesive, welding rods, professional installation tools, and badminton nets. What the customer purchased was not isolated flooring rolls, but a badminton court supply solution that was easier to install and easier to coordinate. By uniformly configuring the main materials, auxiliary materials, tools, and venue equipment, FARFLY helped the customer reduce the time and cost generated by multiple-party inquiries, separate purchasing, specification checking, and delivery coordination, making venue construction and later operation easier and more worry-free. Even after receiving technical documents, installation instructions, and video tutorials, the customer was still concerned that the local installation team lacked experience in installing PVC sports flooring. Therefore, FARFLY provided a batch of non-saleable materials free of charge, allowing the installers to practice cutting, adhesive application, grooving, and heat welding before using the official project materials.   A successful hospital flooring project requires more than selecting a roll of material. Different clinical areas place different demands on the flooring system, while export documentation, product compatibility, logistics and installation planning all influence whether the specified solution can be delivered effectively. For a major medical project in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, FARFLY worked with our customer to develop a hospital flooring package covering approximately 12,600 square metres. The proposed solution combines homogeneous vinyl flooring for general hospital areas and wards with anti-static PVC flooring for operating rooms. It opened in 1929 under the name “Republican Hospital”, when Samarkand was the capital of Uzbekistan. After the establishment of the Uzbek State Medical Institute in Samarkand in 1930, the hospital was transferred to the institute and developed into a clinical institution. Today, the multidisciplinary clinic serves as a medical, teaching and research base. Its official profile lists a wide range of departments, including cardiology, neurology, surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics and intensive care. The institution has also continued to modernize. In April 2024, the university announced the opening of a five-storey surgical building with 200 beds. In April 2025, the surgical building hosted international programs covering robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, urology, gynecology and interventional medicine. This combination of historical significance and continuing medical development creates demanding requirements for hospital flooring across patient areas, wards and technically sensitive clinical spaces. Therefore, we chose the Bona star series. This environmentally friendly medical homogeneous vinyl floor is formaldehyde-free, wear-resistant, waterproof and stain-resistant. The TVOC emissions after 28 days are less than 20μg/m3, ensuring the indoor air quality. At full capacity, the hospital can receive 20,000 patients per day and treat 7,000 emergency cases. The hospital is currently in need of renovation of some of its outdated areas. As a specialist in the healthcare sector, Farfly was specified for the hospital's office and pediatric inpatient flooring.   Product recommendations and installation precautions   Farfly selected the Bonize range of medical homogeneous vinyl flooring and 3D-printed custom flooring for the hospital. We needed a solution that was particularly antimicrobial, hard-wearing, iodine-resistant and sustainable. That's why we chose the Bonize range. In addition, as there are children's wards here, we also considered a variety of patterns to make it less stressful for the children. We chose 3D-printed customised floors.     These floors are environmentally friendly, formaldehyde-free, hard-wearing, waterproof and stain-resistant, with TVOC emissions of less than 20 μg/m3 after 28 days, which ensures the quality of the air in the room. Especially in the millions of times everyday step on the floor, if the quality is not good, it is easy to break.   The hospital was primarily renovated over an area of 5,120 sq m. Farfly was commissioned to lay vinyl flooring in the nurses' stations, corridors, wards and operating theatres, and emergency areas.     Product recommendations and installation precautions   The nurse's station chose two blue colours spliced together to act as a guide. The walls of the corridor have also been fitted with homogeneous flooring, which can be more anti-bacterial.   Rooms in the hospital, such as laboratories and operating theatres, lack daylight, and in addition, sunlight is not suitable for assessing scan results. Because of this, Farfly chose bright colours to make this part of the area look open and bright. For the flooring, aesthetics were of course important, but so was functionality. In August, the Shanghai University of Technology cooperated with Farfly. BAM texture of PVC sports flooring Boguan series was used as the floor of a badminton court.       BAM4002 is a composite process of badminton special PVC sports flooring. Made of materials with high abrasion resistance, it can effectively resist friction and abrasion and prolong the service life of the floor.     Secondly, the sports floor has excellent cushioning performance. Zhuoda Club commissioned Farfly to take charge of the entire production of club flooring materials as well as the construction work.   Site Selection and Foundation Work Ground Leveling and Waterproofing: Ensuring the levelness of the ground and proper waterproofing treatment is crucial. This prevents water from seeping into the surface and ensures the longevity of the floor. Go Play entrusted Farfly with the responsibility for the production and installation of the floor materials.   Court Ground Situation The base ground is made of basketball wood flooring. Go Play wanted to add badminton courts without affecting the basketball game experience. The fact that pickleball became an Olympic showpiece in 2024 has made the sport more popular and widely participated in.   Pickleball Field Dimensions The American Pickleball Association specifies that a standard pickleball court should be rectangular, with boundary lines measuring 20 feet (6.67 yards/6.10 metres) wide and 44 feet (14.67 yards/13.41 metres) long. Provide enough space for players to move safely around the court. The smallest court is typically 25 feet * 54 feet. Of course, the ideal size is 30*60 feet so that athletes can achieve the highest possible level of athleticism. If you plan to want to start a pickleball club, the first thing to consider is the size of the field. Try to choose an open site with no pillars and no steps.   Flooring materials Paint: Advantage: it is easy to operate and can be matched with any colour. Suitable for temporary sites. Disadvantages: after use, it needs to be ventilated to remove odour. It cannot protect the knees and ankles of athletes. Poor anti-slip.   PVC sports flooring: Advantage: professional pickleball floor is more non-slip, shock absorption, and the ball rebound effect can be higher than the standard. pvc sports flooring can protect the athlete's knees and ankles. It can effectively absorb sound, reduce the noise of the movement to open. The surface of the floor has increased non-slip, waterproof treatment, and fireproof. Disadvantages: can not be used outdoors, not UV resistant.   About flooring installation For indoor pickleball courts, the most suitable is PVC professional sports flooring.
