We find it very important to make our patients feel comfortable during treatment. Getting treatment is hard enough on its own. It's even better when it's easy to find your way around a healthcare building and still feel a sense of privacy. In a professional environment, patients immediately feel they are well taken care of.      Product recommendations and installation precautions Farfly chose homogeneous floor coverings from the Bonaire Collection. This homogeneous floor covering has a UV finish. In addition to being extremely matte and scratch-resistant, the flooring is resistant to most chemicals.Farfly's lighter colours were used the most to enhance the bright atmosphere of the building. Other colours indicate transitions to other areas. In this project, light and dark grey were ultimately used. The advantages of this vinyl flooring, in addition to its robust qualities, are its pleasant walking sound and soft touch.   This environmentally friendly medical homogeneous vinyl flooring is formaldehyde-free, hard-wearing, waterproof and stain-resistant, and with TVOC emissions of less than 20 μg/m3 after 28 days, it ensures good indoor air quality.   The installation was carried out in such a way as to blend in with the rest of the décor and to ensure that the flooring did not interfere with opening and closing doors, and that the corners were tightly fitted.       It was summer when the floor was installed, so we laid the floor flat for 2 days to allow the floor to fully adapt to the ambient temperature. This allowed the floor to fully acclimatise to the ambient temperature. After many comparisons, the hospital finally chose medical vinyl homogeneous flooring as the flooring material.   Material Selection   Farfly chose a homogeneous floor covering from the Boniro range. Let the floor fully adapt to the ambient temperature. Clean the original floor to ensure no dust and oil. Repair cracks and unevenness, sand the floor to ensure that the flatness meets the requirements (no more than 2mm error within 2 metres). Use cement self-levelling material to level the ground, make sure the surface is smooth and even. Use environmentally friendly glue to evenly coat the ground, lay the floor in order, compact it with a roller to ensure that there are no air bubbles. Use heat welding process to deal with the joints to ensure seamless connection. Clean the floor after construction, remove residual glue and dust. Thoroughly disinfect and wax before delivery to ensure compliance with hospital hygiene standards. Many schools in Manila are in urgent need of facility upgrades. To improve the quality of the educational environment, the Manila city government partnered with private enterprises to launch a series of school infrastructure improvement projects, including the renovation and reconstruction of school floors. This article will examine the flooring project of a public High school in Manila, discussing the implementation process, technical challenges, and social impact.   Project Overview   The project, led by the Manila city government, aimed to renovate the floors of the teaching building of a public elementary school, covering a total area of approximately 2,000 square meters. The floor renovation needed to consider durability, safety, environmental standards, and cost-effectiveness. The project timeline was set for two months, with a budget of 5 million Philippine Pesos.   Project Implementation   1. Needs Assessment and Design Plan   Before starting the project, the city government and the school management conducted a detailed needs assessment. It was found that the old flooring was severely worn and cracked, making it unsuitable for daily teaching activities. After extensive discussion, they decided to use durable, non-slip, and environmentally friendly polyvinyl chloride (PVC) flooring.   2. Material Selection and Procurement   Material Selection and Procurement Material selection was critical. The Institute of Folklore and Cultural Heritage has been fitted with commercial PVC flooring from the Berrod range.       The Institute's extension was commissioned in the winter of 2023 in just 12 months. The historic building is complemented by exhibits and has an impressive retro interior design thanks to our highly durable commercial PVC flooring solution, the Berrod range.     To enable the Folklore Heritage House to accommodate more visitors, Guangxi Province decided to undertake a major refurbishment of the ageing existing building. The new exhibition area has been expanded to accommodate around a thousand visitors. A total of 5125 square metres of floor coverings were delivered for this huge project. As the cinema is newly built. Therefore, the cinema needed a flooring solution that was durable enough to withstand high levels of foot traffic for years to come, yet blended with a calm, neutral aesthetic that was also slip-resistant, fire-resistant, environmentally friendly, and easy to clean and maintain. Farfly's safety floor range quickly became the perfect flooring solution for cinemas. Allow time for moisture in the adhesive to evaporate before installation.     Consider environmental factors such as temperature and humidity during installation. The school campus has a beautiful environment and is under boarding system.     In July 2024, the school building was renovated, with a total area of 2,500 square metres.
