This is a comprehensive hospital, newly constructed. Farfly flooring possesses antibacterial, slip-resistant, wear-resistant, and easy-to-clean properties, meeting the high standards required in medical environments. After thorough comparison, the hospital ultimately selected medical-grade vinyl homogeneous flooring as the floor covering material.

Material Selection

Farfly chose the Boniro series T-grade wear-resistant homogeneous flooring to accommodate the hospital's exceptionally high footfall. This homogeneous flooring features a UV-treated surface. Beyond scratch resistance, the flooring withstands contamination from most chemical agents. Farfly selected beige, light grey, and blue colourways to enhance the building's bright ambience and delineate distinct hospital zones. Beyond its load-bearing qualities, this homogeneous flooring offers the added benefits of a pleasant walking sound and a soft tactile feel.

Installation Considerations

Upon arrival at the project site, workers unrolled the flooring and laid it flat for 1-2 days to allow it to fully acclimatise to the ambient temperature.

Furthermore, considering the flooring's antibacterial properties, Farfly instructed the installation team to install the flooring approximately 10cm high on the walls, creating a seamless connection with the floor. This achieves optimal antibacterial and stain-resistant performance.

Following installation, the team undergoes thorough disinfection and waxing to meet hospital hygiene standards.

Through scientific installation protocols and rigorous quality control, Farfly's homogeneous flooring has been successfully implemented in this hospital. It meets the stringent requirements of a medical environment, enhances overall environmental quality, and has earned high recognition from hospital management.
