Furthermore, the flooring was required to withstand constant foot traffic and the movement of heavy machinery, while also meeting strict cleanliness standards. Farfly flooring possesses a combination of properties—including antimicrobial, anti-slip, wear-resistant, and easy-to-clean characteristics—that fully meet the rigorous standards required of a medical environment. After a comprehensive comparative analysis and careful deliberation, the hospital ultimately selected medical-grade homogeneous flooring as its preferred material for floor installation.   Material Selection   Given the hospital's specific requirements regarding extremely high foot traffic, Farfly selected homogeneous flooring from its *Boned* series. The surface of this flooring series features a specialized UV coating treatment; this not only provides superior scratch resistance but also effectively withstands corrosion and staining caused by most chemical reagents. Their professional installation team began by unrolling the flooring sheets and allowing them to lie flat for 1 to 2 days; this ensured the material fully acclimated and stabilized to the ambient temperature of the site.   Additionally, to maximize the flooring's antimicrobial efficacy, the Vimpocol SAS team installed the material with a 10-centimeter cove base extending up the walls, thereby creating a seamless transition between the floor and the wall surfaces. This specific installation technique was designed to ensure the flooring achieves optimal antimicrobial protection and stain resistance.     One of our Australian clients recently completed the construction of a remarkable badminton facility: the NORTHSIDE Badminton Center. This project serves as a perfect embodiment of a core philosophy: upholding uncompromisingly high standards, adhering to athlete-centric design principles, and ensuring professional execution throughout every stage of construction.     Material Advantages Following extensive evaluation and rigorous testing, the client ultimately selected our premium badminton flooring model—the BAM4002. This professional-grade, 6mm-thick PVC sports flooring was meticulously engineered specifically for venues hosting national and international-level badminton competitions.   This project holds particular significance due to the rigor and meticulousness the client demonstrated during the material selection phase. Prior to placing the official order, they procured samples of various flooring grades and subjected them to rigorous performance testing, comprehensively evaluating the flooring's athletic performance, comfort, grip, and its practical impact on the athletes' experience. Following this thorough assessment, the BAM4002 emerged as the optimal choice.     During my interactions with the client, it was evident that they placed a strong emphasis on the tactile and experiential aspects of the flooring. The sand-grain textured surface of this PVC badminton flooring enhances friction, while its 6mm thickness provides more effective protection for athletes' knees and ankles, thereby reducing impact and physical strain. Furthermore, the fact that this flooring holds European Standard test reports and BWF certification proved highly satisfying to the client.   To ensure that the quality of the installation would match the exceptional caliber of this high-end flooring itself, the client simultaneously procured the professional-grade adhesives, accessories, and installation tools we provided. Most importantly, they specifically engaged the most experienced professional sports flooring installation team in the region to handle the laying process.     Installation Highlights Throughout the entire construction phase, the installation team maintained close communication and collaboration with us, strictly adhering to every technical guideline and recommendation we provided. Rather than rushing directly into the installation, they first performed a preliminary layout of the flooring, followed by a comprehensive inspection and calibration—a critical step essential for ensuring overall alignment, surface flatness, and long-term performance stability once the flooring was laid.
